1874 Overseas mail. Very fine entire to Lisbon, prepaid by a 1s deep green Pl.8 (SG148) neatly tied by a superb Newcastle On Tyne '545' duplex for DE.17.1874 with a boxed 'VIA de MAR' and oval 'FRANCA' handstamps alongside. Lisboa arrival cds on reverse for the 23rd.
