You have 3c value from the 1938 Presidential issue. The single stamp is extremely common. The pairs with imperforate edges can be a lot less common

There are six varieties;

- Perf.orated on all four sides (top image shown above), it is Scotts #807, it's value can be ascertained by clicking here.

- Perf.orated on one side, two adjacent sides or as a booklet pane (second image shown above), it is Scotts #807a, it's value can be ascertained by clicking here.

- Imperforate between two horizontal stamps, (third image shown above), it is Scotts #807b, it's value can be ascertained by clicking here.

- With no perforations, (fourth image shown above), it is Scotts #807c, it's value can be ascertained by clicking here. This stamp is rare and requires a certificate of authenticity.

- Perf.orated on opposite vertical sides, (fifth image shown above), it is Scotts #842, it's value can be ascertained by clicking here.
