1867-80 9p bister, used in 1874 on cover from London to Bengal, departure cds alongside, sent via Southampton, "Sea Post Office E May:29" and various transit postmarks incl. Allahabad on reverse, also "Rec'd Dehree June 12" docketing, a well travelled cover (via Calcutta Line, London-Southampton-Gibraltar-Port Said-Suez-Aden-Madras to Calcutta by steamer and overland from Calcutta to Allahabad and points further on the Indian subcontinent
