1859 Overseas mail. A wrapper sent from Manchester to Madrid, Spain endorsed "Via France/ Per 1/-" prepaid with a 1s Deep green (SG 71, Wmk. Emblems) tied by a Manchester "498" spoon cancellation (Type C Recut) for JA.18.1859. Backstamped with a red London transit cds for the JA.19.1859 and a black Madrid arrival cds for JA.23.1859.
